Ostro Steel Structures is a leading manufacturer and installer of pre-engineered metal buildings in the southeastern US. Since our business was acquired by a larger national platform earlier this year, our new owner has been making huge investments in new equipment and updating our 80,000 square-foot factory.Because of these investments, were on a rapid growth trajectory and are scouting for the right people to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization outside Augusta, GA. • Manage AR/AP, including processing of invoices
• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
• Set up and maintain relationships with all vendors (including W-9s and certificates of insurances, as needed)
• Collaborate with plant manager to approve and execute payroll each week (currently using Paychex platform)
• Maintain insurance records and facilitate employee on-boarding (integrated with Paychex)
• Sales tax reporting to Georgia and other states where nexus is met
• Maintain vehicle registrations with the state of GA for our fleet of vehicles and trailers
• Other duties as neededYour Qualifications:
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Accounting software knowledge preferred. We're currently on SAGE.
  • Construction or manufacturing accounting experience preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills a must, as this role will interface both with internal staff and customers
  • Must have ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, work efficiently with minimal supervision and be detail orientedCompensation commensurate with experience. Health insurance offered with generous employer contribution.Please submit a resume for consideration; cover letter not required.
