Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Middle School Special Education Teacher position is
available in Augusta, GA, providing an opportunity to support
students with special needs in a dynamic educational setting. This
full-time, contract role runs through the current school year and
focuses on delivering differentiated instruction aligned with
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) within a collaborative
school community. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored
instruction to students with disabilities, adhering to IEP goals
and accommodations. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related
service providers to support student growth. Maintain accurate
student records and ensure compliance with special education
regulations. Participate in professional development activities to
enhance instructional skills. Supervise students during school
activities and contribute to school-wide programs. Perform
additional duties as assigned by school administration.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Special
Education with an emphasis on General Curriculum. Valid Georgia
Professional Teaching Certification in Special Education General
Curriculum. Experience working with special education students at
the middle school level preferred. Strong understanding of federal
and state special education laws and best practices. Excellent
communication and teamwork skills. Reliable transportation and
ability to meet school scheduling requirements. Location and Hours:
Position is located in Columbia County, GA, with multiple school
needs across the district. Full-time hours, typically 40 hours per
week. Elementary schedule: 8:10 AM 4:10 PM; High & Elementary
schedule: 7:10 AM 3:10 PM. Employment term is through May 20, 2026,
with an immediate start date preferred. This role offers a
