Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal vehicles,snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron SpecializedVehicles market products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories,airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.Responsibilities:Plan and direct activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for inspectionprocesses and materials.Conduct field audits and vendor evaluations and investigate manufacturing or field issues as needed.Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.Maintain quality assurance objectives to maximize product reliability and minimize defects, field failures, scrap, and rework.Monitor, communicate, and improve key supply chain KPIs including parts per million (PPM), line disruptions, and days toclose non-conforming material tickets (NCMT).Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues as well as customercomplaints through the coordination of cross-functional teams.Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract andconcrete variables.Seek and recommend ways to improve product and process capability based on company metrics.Provide technical support and information to other departments, vendors, and customers as requested based on datacollected from company metrics, vendor metrics, and inspection data.Lead a small team of Quality Inspectors for assigned areas to ensure processes are followed and production is supportedQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field requiredYears of Experience: P2: 2-5 years of experience required, P3: 5 or more years of experience requiredSoftware Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications, CAD, ERP/MRPMust be able to read part/assembly blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
