Negotiable Based on Experience Company Mission Statement:To build
up our communities, our clients, and each other by building trust
into everything we do. Summary/Objective: Promotes the company
mission statement by participating in the work of a crew performing
exterior pipe installation, concrete forming/pouring/finishing,
heavy equipment operation and process equipment installation.
Essential Functions: Thread pipe using threading machine. Bend pipe
using a pipe bending machine. Assemble and install a variety of
metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of
brass, copper, lead, carbon, stainless steel, and plastic. Join
pipe through threading, soldering, gluing, and bolting. Secure
pipes to structures with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand
or power tools. Bolt up pipe. Set pumps. Install small interior PVC
and copper pipe. Test piping systems for leaks by increasing
pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for
indication of leaks. Elect specified type of lumber or other
materials. Mark cutting and assembly lines on materials, using a
pencil, chalk, and marking gage. Shape materials to prescribed
measurements, using saws, chisels, and planes. Assemble cut and
shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins,
or glue. Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete. Erect
scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above the ground
level. Proficient in rigging and flagging cranes. Competencies:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and
carpenters. Knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and
procedures. Ability to perform basic math. Must be flexible and
accept change often. Must be detail oriented. A Can Do attitude.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Work Environment: While
performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts;
high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside
weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is
occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of
electrical shock and risk of vibration. The noise level in the work
environment is sometimes loud. Physical Demands: Must be able to
physically perform the basic life operational functions of
climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling,
reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering,
grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must
be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/up to
20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess the
visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform
trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for
accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness. Travel Required: Travel
to/from multiple jobsites, projects, and offices. Minimal overnight
or weekend travel. Education and Experience: Additional Eligibility
