If you have a growth mindset, a commitment to teamwork, and a true passion for serving others, you are likely a great fit for our team!VP of Risk Management:The VP of Risk Management oversees the credit union's risk management program by collaborating with the organization's management and stakeholders. The risk management program includes identifying and monitoring financial, operational, and strategic risks throughout all credit union business units. The VP of Risk Management will assist management in assessing and mitigating identified risks, including responsibility for ensuring that the organization proactively determines which risks it will accept and retain.The VP of Risk Management will work with the Audit Committee, a sub-section of the board, to develop the credit union's audit schedule and coordinate internal and external audits and exams. As the credit union's board-designated compliance officer, they will work with all credit union departments to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and industry best practices. The VP of Risk Management will be an advisor for compliance issues and work with credit union attorneys to answer more in-depth questions. The VP of Risk Management will also manage the credit union's insurance coverage and bond policy.Requirements:The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, positive thinker with a strong member-centric philosophy with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory and leadership skills and experience that support collaboration, employee empowerment and engagement, and development and growth are required.
