Responsibilities
Nurse Manager Oppurtunity for our Intensive Care Unit & Step-Down
Intensive Care Unit
The Nurse Manager Provides twenty-four hour responsibility for
personnel and operations of the Critical Care Departments - ICU,
PCU and Telemetry Monitoring. The Clinical Nurse Manager directs,
supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff,
contributes to the development of a fully qualified and
continuously improving staff and supports work redesign and quality
improvement within the department. The Clinical Nurse Manager plans
and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the
Director. The Clinical Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based
nursing practice utilizing the nursing process.
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina,
is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to
the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional
Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by
the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of
heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the
hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries,
maternity, and behavioral health services. Aiken Regional is proud

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. Bachelor's
required or must be actively pursuing courses leading to a
Bachelor's degree. Previous supervisory experience required.
Minimum of three years of Critical Care nursing experience
required. Current license to practice nursing in South Carolina (or
eligible to receive or renew). BLS (or obtained during
orientation). ACLS, PALS, NRP (or obtained within six months of
employment), only in required in certain specialties. Successful
completion of CPI training during orientation.
