A hospital in South Carolina is recruiting internal medicine physicians for both private practice and employed positions. With a definite need for internal medicine in the community, this is an excellent opportunity to establish a busy and growing practice in an attractive location close to major urban areas, the mountains, and the Carolina Coast. Additional sub-specialty training (infectious disease, ENT, or endocrinology) would be welcomed, but is not required. The incoming physician can expect to be busy very quickly, averaging 18 to 25 patients in office per day. There are hospitalist that will handle inpatient care. The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible if resident. The compensation will be competitive, and includes a base salary plus bonus, full employed benefits, a sign-on bonus, and relocation.
