Responsibilities
Pharmacy Technician Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in
Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing
quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding
communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top
hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical
Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and

returns. Position Description: Under the supervision of a licensed
pharmacist, assists in the various activities of the Pharmacy
Department not requiring the professional judgment of the
Pharmacist. Such duties include, but are not limited to,
maintaining patient records, setting up, packaging and labeling
medication doses, filling and dispensing routine orders for stock
supplies of patient-care areas; refilling and inventorying
automated dispensing machines, maintaining inventories of
medication supplies; and mixing medications with parental fluids.
Technicians must function in strict accordance with standard,
written procedures and guidelines with deviation approved by the
supervising pharmacist.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of Pharmacy Technician
program desired. Previous experience in healthcare setting
preferred. Must have and maintain current S.C. pharmacy technician
certification. Previous experience greatly preferred. EEO Statement
