Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of application Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry Job Description: - Care for adult to geriatric patient populations in a Medical Surgical unit. - Manage patients with diagnoses including diabetes, post-operative recovery, wound vacs, and bariatrics. - Work in a unit with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, averaging a daily census of 28 patients. - Proficient in using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. - Wear navy blue scrubs. - Flexible to float to different units as needed. - Expected to work weekends every other week. - Required to work holidays if they fall within the assignment period, with specific guidelines for major holidays. - Fully comply with compliance requirements; non-compliance may result in a start date pushback. - Flu vaccine required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only. - Open to first-time travelers and local candidates. - Availability to submit core items and complete necessary labs within 48 hours of contract signing is crucial for an on-time start.
