Pay Information $1,885 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Must-Have: Telemetry experience with adult to geriatric patient populations Experience with CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT, and vascular issues Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. The role involves monitoring patients with various cardiac conditions. The nurse will assist with administering treatments and medications. Minimum experience required is two years in a telemetry setting. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. The anticipated patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5 in a 16-room unit. Floating to different areas may be required. The nurse must be flexible with scheduling, including working every other weekend. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. Compliance with all health and safety requirements is essential.
