Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Job Description The
University of Missouri-Columbia, Division of Gastroenterology and
Hepatology is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible
Hepatologist who is committed to clinical excellence and with
interests in contributing to the medical education of our fellows.
This position comes with a competitive salary, benefits, and work
hours. The candidate selected for this role will participate as a
faculty member and clinician-educator for our one-year non
ACGME-accredited Hepatology Fellowship. Past faculty in this role
have successfully gone on to pursue gastroenterology fellowships
here, at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, and abroad.
About Us The GI division is home to faculty with expertise across
several areas to include nutrition, IBD, and therapeutic endoscopy.
Additionally, it offers a multidisciplinary team approach to all
varieties of gastrointestinal disorders in collaborations with
several specialties and subspecialties including surgery,
radiology, pathology, oncology, and surgical oncology. Rank will be
commensurate with experience. Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications: Board-certified in Internal Medicine; Completed
Hepatology Fellowship Candidates will be evaluated on: exemplary
clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching Application
