Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location: Augusta, GA 30901 Start Date: 07/21/2025 or later Contract Length: 12 Weeks Shifts: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Schedule Type: Block schedule available Unit: Inpatient Hold – PCU (Unit 60235) Unit & Patient Information - Patient Ratio: 1:4 (both days & nights) - Unit Type: Intermediate/Stepdown and Med-Surg patients - Census: 12 beds - Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics - Common Diagnoses: CHF, dysrhythmias, stroke symptoms, ACS, myocardial ischemia - Charting: Epic - Medication System: Pyxis - Telemetry: All patients on hardwired telemetry; monitored by RN - Scrubs: Navy blue Requirements - Minimum Experience: 2 years PCU/intermediate care - Certifications: BLS & ACLS required - Experience with: - Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management - IV therapy, central/peripheral line care - Non-invasive airway management - Cardiac drips (no titration) - Isolation precautions About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
