Pay Information $2,589 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year; first-timers are accepted License: Georgia or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Strong communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience with titrating cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring Description: The position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents to geriatrics. Patients may exhibit a range of medical issues, including neuro, respiratory, and cardiac conditions. Nurses will be assigned to a mix of Progressive Care Unit and Medical/Surgical/Telemetry patients depending on acuity and staffing. A high staffing ratio is maintained with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5. The work setting includes using systems such as electronic health records and medication dispensing systems. Scrub color is navy blue. Availability for every other weekend and key holidays is required. Travelers are expected to be flexible with their schedule and work assignments. Due to compliance requirements, full medical documentation is necessary for timely onboarding. Orientation consists of 13 hours, which is non-billable.
