Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with GA or compact licensure and circulating and scrub experience for a hospital main OR assignment. Responsibilities - Work in the main Operating Room (OR) with adult to geriatric patient populations - Specialty cases include General, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgery - Circulate and scrub roles are required for the position - 16 OR rooms with an average daily census of 35 cases - Utilizes Epic charting system, Pyxis, and two Davinci XI surgical robots - Day shift (4x10 hours), 10:00 to 20:30 - Average of 2-3 weekend shifts per contract period - Rare floating to other areas - On-call required: 7-8 calls per 8-week period, including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts - Facility provides required scrub attire - Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the contract as per facility policy - Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, with no holiday RTO unless three major holidays occur during the assignment - All required compliance and onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure on-time start - First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate - Orientation modules must be completed as part of onboarding, with hours factored into orientation - Travel pairs are not permitted to be scheduled for the same shift on the same unit - No blocked scheduling allowed Requirements - Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration - Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Circulating and scrub experience in the operating room required - Experience with adult and geriatric surgical patients - Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred - Must provide up to two supervisory references from manager-level or higher - Must not have been employed as perm/PRN staff at Piedmont facilities within the past year Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626188.
