Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-timers accepted
License: Must hold a valid state nursing license Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Ability to manage cardiac and
vasoactive drips without titration - Experience with telemetry and
cardiac monitoring Description: Seeking a registered nurse for a
telemetry specialty position. The ideal candidate will have
experience caring for adult and geriatric patients. This position
involves diagnosing and treating conditions such as congestive
heart failure, myocardial infarction, dysrhythmias, and sepsis.
Candidates must be comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5.
Knowledge of electronic health record systems is essential.
Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required.
Candidates must have the ability to administer blood products and
care for ventilated patients. A strong foundation in assessing and
interpreting dysrhythmias is necessary. Additional responsibilities
include IV insulin protocols and supporting rapid response teams.
Floating to other units may be required as needed. Candidates must
be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Travel
nurses are encouraged to apply.
