Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Open Heart - CVOR Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Vascular OR cases experience - Endovascular experience - Experience with EVAR - Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years. First-time travelers are not accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Candidates must have experience in vascular OR cases with hybrid OR. Position requires full compliance to start on time. Clinical fit will be determined through a review process. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission. Floating may occur to the Main OR in rare instances. Call requirements include 4-5 per week with every other weekend. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays are present, the traveler is expected to work both. For three major holidays, two must be worked. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day. Compliance document deadline is the Tuesday prior to the start. No holiday RTO can be requested during the specified periods. Candidates must submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract.
