TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Pay Information $1,969 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: - Previous experience with a patient ratio of 4-5 - Experience with Epic charting system - Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration Description: Minimum experience is 2 years. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4-5 with a daily census averaging 35 patients. The unit utilizes systems including Epic and Pyxis. Navy blue scrubs are required. Floating to other units may be expected. There are no call requirements associated with this position. Full compliance is required prior to the start date. This role necessitates strong clinical skills in telemetry nursing, including management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring. Additional skills such as care for chest tubes, peripheral line management, and post-cardiac procedures are essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases. Weekly staffing may require working every other weekend. Holiday time off is not permitted during the assignment period.
