Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: 1. Minimum of 2
years of nursing experience in an emergency department. 2.
First-time travelers are not accepted. 3. Experience with Epic
charting system is required. 4. Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS,
and NIHSS is mandatory. Description: This position is for a
registered nurse in a small emergency room. The nurse will care for
a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The
emergency room will have an ambulance on-site 24 hours a day.
Patients needing care beyond the facility’s capacity will be
transported. There is no IV team available at this location. Wound
care will be conducted virtually. Vending machines will provide
meal options, as there is no cafeteria. The expected
patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, and there are 14 beds in the unit.
Staff must be available to work every other weekend. There may be a
possibility of floating to a nearby facility for staffing needs.
Travelers will be expected to work on major holidays, with specific
policies regarding holiday coverage in place. Full compliance with
all requirements is necessary prior to the start date. References
from previous supervisory roles are highly preferred during the
application process. It is important to submit all required
documentation promptly to ensure a timely start. Requirements
