Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,829 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 year of nursing experience in a cardiac telemetry setting is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Description: The primary patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Candidates must have experience managing conditions such as post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease. Knowledge of peritoneal dialysis, telemetry, EKG, and Doppler is essential. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, with an average daily census of 16. The unit maintains 16 beds, and experience with Epic charting system is required. This position involves floating to other telemetry units or related units as needed. There are no call requirements associated with this position. The expectation is to work major holidays when applicable during the assignment period. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. Failure to meet compliance deadlines may result in a two-week delay. References from supervisory personnel are preferred at the time of submission. Candidates must be available to start working within 48 hours of signing the contract. Weekend shifts are required, totaling six shifts per six-week schedule period. Floating to other cardiac telemetry units or related departments may be required as needed. Additional skills required include managing cardiac drips, dietary requirements, and performing phlebotomy. The environment supports interdisciplinary coordination with teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services. Successful candidates will engage in patient care that includes the use of telemetry for remote monitoring. Experience with care and management of hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmias is critical.
