Feeding Tube Care and Management Description: The position requires
a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care. The nurse
will care for a diverse patient population, including adults and
geriatrics. Patient diagnoses may include a variety of medical
surgical issues. Skills and knowledge must include isolation
precautions and wound care management. The nurse will be
responsible for administering blood products and managing feeding
tubes. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. The unit consists
of 32 rooms with an average daily census of 29 patients. Epic is
the required charting system in use. Travelers are expected to work
major holidays as outlined in the policy. Compliance with all
requirements is necessary to ensure a timely start. The facility
