Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,639 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position ```htmlJob Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Renal – Georgia Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, self-scheduling available Highlights: Renal Medical Surgical unit with adult to geriatric patient population Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 with average daily census of 48 patients Epic EMR system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR preferred Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and more Up to 7 days of requested time off available during assignment 12 hours of orientation provided; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience Requirements: Active RN license (Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of application) Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted Epic charting system experience required Patient ratio experience of 1:6 preferred Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Core competencies: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tube management, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin and insulin administration, high flow nasal cannula, IV starts and maintenance, PCA pump management, PICC line care, pre/post hemodialysis management, telemetry monitoring, wound care/wound vac, and more Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above) Must be available to complete compliance requirements within 48 hours of contract signing Position Details: 49-bed unit specializing in renal medical surgical care Willingness to float to other units as needed No call requirements Holiday coverage expectations based on assignment dates (work requirements range from 1-2 major holidays depending on assignment length) Navy blue scrubs provided Full compliance required to start on time Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to provide specialized renal medical surgical care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population while working with a highly supportive interdisciplinary team.
