Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia Start
Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 or 48 hour
guarantee; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required Highlights:
High-volume Emergency Department averaging 165-175 patients daily
in a 59-bed unit Stroke and STEMI certified facility with
high-acuity patient population from adolescents to geriatrics 1:4
nurse-to-patient ratio in a non-trauma general ED setting Epic EMR
experience required; Pyxis medication management system utilized
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams,
respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology Assignment length
varies; modules and orientation completed during non-billable
orientation hours Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN
license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of Emergency
Department experience; first-time travelers not accepted Current
certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS required Epic
charting system experience mandatory Experience with 1:4 patient
ratios in a general ED setting Two supervisory references from
Manager level or above required Flu vaccination required; COVID-19
vaccination not required Full compliance documentation due by
