Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Tele Job Details: • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Patient population includes adults to geriatrics • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Patient ratio of 1:5 on a 16-bed unit with average daily census of 16 • Must be proficient in Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period • Floating required to other Cardiac Telemetry Units or other units as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period • Care for patients with post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease • Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures • Work with telemetry monitoring, EKG, and Doppler equipment • Skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, and various cardiac procedures • 24 hours of orientation provided • Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized cardiac telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for patients with various cardiac conditions.
