Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; patient ratio 1:4-5; no call Highlights: 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients Diverse patient population including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, sepsis, PE/DVT, and vascular conditions Epic EMR system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR preferred Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration; experience with post-cath and cardiac device patients Maximum 7 days PTO available; local candidates welcome Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred Epic charting system experience required Experience with 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratios Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, and post-cardiac procedure care Ability to manage cardiac drips including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin Two supervisory references from manager level or above highly preferred Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required Willingness to float to other units as needed Availability to work assigned holidays per facility policy Why It's a Great Opportunity: This telemetry position offers the chance to work with a complex and rewarding cardiac patient population in a well-supported environment.
