Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (first-time travelers accepted) • Work on telemetry unit caring for adult to geriatric patient population • Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with 16 rooms on the unit • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH • Must be proficient in Epic charting system (required), Pyxis, and SBAR • Navy blue scrubs required • Every other weekend schedule required • Floating to other units required • No call requirements • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed • Holiday work required based on assignment length and number of major holidays during contract period • 36 hours of orientation provided • Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues • Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin • Skills required include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, IV insulin protocols, telemetry monitoring, and wound care • Georgia or Compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal • Two supervisory references highly preferred (manager level or above) • Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical facility featuring a 16-room telemetry unit that provides specialized cardiac monitoring and care.
