Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Telemetry RN – Georgia Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:4-5 patient ratio, every other weekend required, no call Highlights: Cardiac-focused telemetry unit caring for adult to geriatric patients with CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions 36-bed unit with average daily census of 35 patients Epic EMR experience required; Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols utilized Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience Maximum 7 days of requested time off available Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; telemetry experience strongly preferred Epic charting system experience required Experience with 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratios Proficiency managing cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration (milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, heparin) Skills required: cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pre/post cardiac cath care, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, central line and PICC management Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Two supervisory references (manager level or above) highly preferred at submission Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity cardiac telemetry environment where you'll care for a diverse patient population with complex cardiovascular conditions.
