RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse
(RN), Progressive Care / Intermediate Care – Georgia Start Date:
January 26, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment;
every other weekend required; maximum 7 days requested time off
Highlights: Mixed patient population including medical/surgical
telemetry, intermediate care, neuro, respiratory, and cardiac
patients Progressive care unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5;
assignments may include all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a combination
based on acuity Titration of cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
required; experience with high acuity stepdown patients essential
Epic electronic medical record system with Pyxis medication
dispensing and SBAR communication Floating within facility as
needed; no on-call requirements First-time travelers accepted with
minimum 1 year of experience Requirements: Active Georgia or
Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Minimum 1 year
of RN experience in progressive care, stepdown, or intermediate
care setting Demonstrated competency in cardiac drip titration,
telemetry interpretation, and dysrhythmia management Experience
with blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes,
BIPAP/CPAP, and vasoactive drip management Two supervisory
references from manager level or above required at time of
submission Full compliance documentation required; candidates must
be available to complete labs and core requirements within 48 hours
of contract signing Flu vaccination required (medical/religious
