Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 1 year minimum experience required - unit accepts first time travelers • Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Work every other weekend • No call responsibilities • Float within facility/scope of practice as needed • 12 hours of orientation required • BLS certification required • Med/Surg and MS/Tele skills required • Epic charting system experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Care for adult and geriatric medical surgical patients • Work with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary • Holiday work required based on assignment period: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment • Georgia or Compact state license required • Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care.
