Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required • Work in a very large and busy emergency department with high acuity patients • 1:4 patient ratio in a 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day • Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics • Every other weekend schedule required • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed • Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS • Epic charting system experience required (hard stop) • Navy blue scrubs required • Work in Stroke and STEMI certified facility • Float assignments are rare • 24 hours of orientation provided • Full compliance required to start on time • Previous charge experience preferred • Travel experience required • Georgia or compact state nursing license required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department that is both Stroke and STEMI certified, providing advanced cardiac and neurological emergency care.
