Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work in telemetry unit caring for adult to geriatric patient population • Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with 16 rooms total • Every other weekend schedule required • Floating to other units as needed • No call requirements • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Holiday requirement: work major holidays that fall during assignment period • Navy blue scrubs required • 2 years of nursing experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH • Epic charting system experience required • Must manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration • Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues • Skills required include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, and wound care • 36 hours of orientation provided • Use of Pyxis medication system and SBAR communication • Georgia or compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submittal • Two supervisory references highly preferred • Must be available to submit compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac monitoring and care for adult and geriatric patients.
