Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description

Details: • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required;
first-time travelers accepted • Patient population includes adults
to geriatrics • Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on days, nights, and
weekends • Unit has 49 rooms with average daily census of 48
patients • Required to work every other weekend • Floating required
to other units as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work
required based on assignment length (1-2 holidays if they fall
during assignment) • Required certifications: BLS • Must be
proficient in Epic charting system (required), Pyxis, and SBAR •
Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue • Maximum 7 days requested time
off allowed • 12 hours of non-billable orientation required • Must
be skilled in renal med-surg procedures including blood product
administration, central line management, chest tubes, colostomy
care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, hemodialysis management,
telemetry monitoring, wound care, and IV management • Full
compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not
compliant • GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of
submission • Two supervisory references highly preferred Facility:
