Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 36 or 48 hour guaranteed weekly schedule • 1:5-6 patient ratio with 49 rooms and average daily census of 48 • Adult to geriatric patient population • Renal Med Surg specialty focus • Every other weekend requirement • Floating required to other units • No call requirements • Holiday work required based on assignment period (see holiday policy) • BLS certification required • Epic charting system experience required • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days requested time off • 1 year minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted • 12 hours of orientation provided • Skills required include blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tube management, heparin administration, telemetry, wound care, and pre/post hemodialysis management • Must be available to submit compliance documents and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing • Two supervisory references required at submission Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 49-bed medical surgical unit specializing in renal care with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
