Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,719 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience with patient populations ranging from adults to geriatrics - Proficient in isolation precautions, wound care, wound vac management, nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, IV starts, PICC line management, blood product administration, and feeding tube care and management Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Key skills and knowledge required encompass a wide range of medical-surgical diagnoses. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care. Daily patient ratios are 1 nurse to 6 patients. The unit has 32 rooms with an average daily census of 29. The unit utilizes an electronic health record system. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend. They must be available to work if one major holiday falls within their assignment. If two major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work both. All compliance requirements must be met prior to starting the position. References from supervisors are highly preferred for application. Candidates should be flexible with their availability during the assignment period.
