Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Renal Med/Surg position requiring a GA or compact license and BLS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an adult to geriatric Renal Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting - Typical ratio is 1:5-6 with a 49-bed unit and average census of 48 - Day shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00 - Weekend shifts required every other weekend - Floating to other units may be required - No call responsibilities - Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems are used in the unit - Provide care for patients ranging from adults to geriatrics - Must adhere to navy blue scrub dress code - Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed, none during first week of assignment - Travel pairs are not permitted the same shift in the same unit - Blocked scheduling is not available - Full compliance with onboarding requirements necessary to start on time - If one major holiday falls during the assignment, you are expected to work it; if two, work both; if three, work two of them - Major holidays may include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day - First-time travelers are accepted - Local candidates are accepted at the same rate /n /n Requirements/n - Active GA or compact RN license required - Current BLS certification required - Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg RN experience required - Experience with Epic EMR is required - Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or higher - Must not have been employed in a permanent or PRN role at any Piedmont facility within the past year /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-660367.
