Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care within our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, as well as possibly extending services to home health and hospice care settings based on patient needs. As part of our team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment and care that supports recovery and well-being. The position requires a patient-focused approach, aiming to deliver tailored healthcare plans and interventions based on individual patient assessments. Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing intravenous lines Provide direct care and manage day-to-day activities within the patient care plan Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to adjust patient care plans as needed Educate patients and their families about disease management and prevention techniques Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Proficient in clinical skills with the ability to manage multiple patients Strong organizational and communication skills Empathy and resilience in high-pressure situations Ability to use Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of practice BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
