Ortho experience with major joint surgeries Experience in general,
urology (open & cysto), and minor vascular surgeries Description:
Unit Profile: The unit has a total of 13 operating rooms. Patient
ratios are 1:1. Staffing includes RNs, surgical techs, support
staff, and board runners. Type of equipment includes Stryker ortho
systems, Stryker lap towers, two DIV Xi robots, MAKO navigation,
and OMNI navigation. Documentation system used is Meditech. Call
shifts are required 4-5 times every four weeks. Weekend rotation is
included with no set schedule, but it is reasonable. If the
operating rooms are shut down, floating to assist in other areas is
required, with internal staff being prioritized. Advanced skills
for this role include proficiency with orthopedics. All surgical
cases are performed on this unit, except for open heart,
transplants, and eye surgeries. Scrubs will be provided.
