Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 36 or 48 hour guarantee; 12-hour
shifts with every other weekend; no call required Highlights:
Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac
and medical diagnoses including CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, and sepsis
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a 16-room unit Epic charting
system required; experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication
Competitive guaranteed hours with flexible contract lengths;
orientation hours provided based on assignment duration Floating
within facility and scope of practice as needed; comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including IV teams, PT, respiratory, and
rapid response teams Local candidates welcome at the same rate;
first-time travelers accepted Requirements: Active Georgia or
Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or step-down experience Current
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications Demonstrated
proficiency with Epic EMR system Experience managing cardiac drips
(no titration): milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem,
Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin protocols Skills in post-cardiac
procedures (cath, angiogram), interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV
insulin protocols, central line management, and wound care Two
supervisory references from Manager level or above required at
submission Ability to complete compliance requirements and submit
all documentation by the Tuesday prior to start date Flu vaccine
