Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,307 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 10 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current state nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Circulate and scrub experience required Description: Minimum experience required is 1 year. First timers are accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Main operating room serves multiple specialties including general, neuro, spine, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, and colorectal. HARD STOP: Circulate and scrub experience is necessary. Unit contains 16 rooms with an average daily census of 35. Unit systems include Epic and Pyxis. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. Maximum requested time off is 7 days. Request time off during spring break (April 4th-12th) is not permitted. Weekend shifts will be 2 or 3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on-call. Floating is rare but may occur within the facility/scope of practice as needed. Call requirements include an average of 7-8 calls in an 8-week schedule, with 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts. Call shifts are either overnight or daytime. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler must work two out of the three holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will be reviewed to determine clinical fit before final decisions are made. Locally accepted candidates will receive the same rate. Two supervisory references are highly preferred at the time of submission. Holiday requests cannot be made for major holidays unless two holidays occur. Available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract is essential.
