Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,871 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry and progressive care units. - Ability to manage complex patient populations including adults and geriatrics. - Proficient in Epic charting system. Description: The RN will work in a telemetry/PCU unit. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Diagnoses may include CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypotension/hypertension, pleural effusions, sepsis, and vascular issues. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Staffing ratio is 1:4-5 with an average daily census of 35 patients in a 36-room unit. Floating may be required within the facility as needed. The role does not include on-call requirements. The nurse is expected to work major holidays as outlined in the policies. Full compliance with requirements is essential for starting on time. Travelers are expected to be flexible and willing to adapt to changing unit needs. Holidays worked include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. Candidates must be able to submit core items and complete necessary tasks promptly after signing the contract.
