Job Description:
Georgia Hospice Care (GHC) is seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing
end-of-life care that prioritizes comfort and quality of life for
patients in various counties in Georgia. As part of GHC, you will
work in a nurturing environment that aims to deliver personalized
care tailored to the needs of our patients and their families. This
role requires a deep commitment to patient care, with a focus on
supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of
individuals during their final stages of life. Assess patient
conditions through consistent monitoring, communication, and
evaluation of patient needs. Administer medications, manage pain
relief, and provide other personalized interventions. Educate and
support patients and their families on end-of-life care and
practices, ensuring they are prepared and informed. Implement
doctor's orders while focusing on the patient's comfort and overall
quality of life. Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to
provide comprehensive and harmonious patient care. Document patient
care services by charting in patient and department records
according to accepted regulatory, corporate and professional
guidelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in managing pain relief and symptom management Ability
to work collaboratively with a healthcare team High level of
compassion and empathy Effective skills in patient and family
education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Georgia CPR certification preferred Certified Hospice and
Palliative Nurse (CHPN) certification desirable but not
required
