Job Details - Location: Greenville, SC (Zip: 29605) — Greenville nursing jobs / South Carolina travel nurse - Position: Travel Nurse – CVOR Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Operating Room - Assignment Type: Travel (13 weeks) - Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Cardiac surgery unit - Start Date: March 30, 2026 - End Date: June 29, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (06:00 - 16:30) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,470 - $2,600 per week - Call Requirement: Minimum two days of call per week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule - Guaranteed Hours Policy: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. - Perks: Free parking available; supportive surgical team and learning opportunities in advanced cardiovascular procedures Job Requirements / Qualifications - Active South Carolina RN license (required; no pending licenses accepted) - Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR RN experience required; 2 years preferred (cardiovascular OR, cardiac surgery nurse) - Experience with EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year) - Previous travel nursing experience required - AHA BLS certification required - ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred - Clinical experience with CABG, ECMO, TAVR, valve replacements, and other advanced cardiovascular surgeries is highly desirable - Ability to float to other qualified units as needed and perform within demonstrated competencies - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with complex cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures - Act as a skilled cardiovascular OR nurse during CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, ECMO cases and other advanced cardiac surgeries - Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, including some weekends - Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR and uphold charting standards - Float to other units within the facility as needed, performing tasks within demonstrated competencies - Complete required pre-assignment modules and orientation for CVOR travel assignments - Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, sterile technique, and infection control Why Apply - Advance your career as a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) in a high-acuity cardiac surgery setting - Work with an experienced, collaborative surgical team and access continuing learning opportunities - Experience Greenville, SC — a desirable location for travel nurses with strong community amenities Discover the charm of Greenville while advancing your career in a supportive and innovative surgical environment.
