Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days, evenings, flexible - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) Location: Aiken, SC Facility: UHS Direct Program Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Schedule: 4x10s (Days vary based on department needs) Position Summary : The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The RN will perform scrubbing and/or circulating duties and ensure adherence to aseptic and safety standards. This role requires coordination with the surgical team to deliver safe, effective intraoperative care. Key Responsibilities Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during operative procedures Prepare the operating room for scheduled surgical cases Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and implants are available and functioning properly Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care Serve as liaison between surgical team, patients, and families Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures Document care accurately and timely Participate in on-call rotation as required Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience Experience in OR with multiple surgical specialties Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Must reside 100 miles from facility (Travel requirement) HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31952504.
