Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a
night shift Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NC or
compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.
Details - Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital - Night
shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Care for patients in all
phases of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum - No local
candidates permitted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from
the facility Requirements - Active NC or compact RN license
required - Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing
experience required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification from AHA or ARC - Current Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition certification - Intermediate or
advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring or NCCEFM certification required -
U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for
consideration - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within
the past 12 months - Professional references required (minimum
varies by state of licensure) Additional Information - Responsible
for managing labor, delivery, and postpartum care of maternal
patients - Must submit application, license verification,
certifications, and complete professional profile for consideration
- Compliance with all hospital policies regarding documentation and

package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
