Details: • Work in a 10-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit
specializing in complex cardiac patients • Nurse-to-patient ratio
typically 1:2 with a free charge nurse available • Care for
patients with LVADs, balloon pumps, swan catheters, temporary
pacemakers, femoral and venous sheaths, arterial lines, TR bands,
and patients on CRRT • Titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive
medications, and sedation for intubated patients • Monitor patients
post-AAA repair procedures requiring flat positioning for specific
timeframes • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with
intensivist and care team at 10 AM Monday-Friday • Minimum 2 years
of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Required
certifications: BLS, ACLS • Scrub color: Navy Blue • Every other
weekend schedule required • Floating within facility/scope of
practice as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work
requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment
period • Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break
(April 4th-12th) • Use Epic charting system and Pyxis medication
dispensing • Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics • 24 hours of

present Monday through Friday and comprehensive interdisciplinary

for complex cardiac procedures and provides advanced care for
