Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline:
RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per
week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Minimum 2 years of nursing
experience required; first-time travelers accepted • Patient ratio
of 1:4-5 patients in a 16-room telemetry unit • Care for adult to
geriatric patient population • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS,
and NIH • Must have Epic charting system experience • Scrub color
requirement: Navy Blue • Every other weekend schedule unless
specified elsewhere • Floating required within facility and scope
of practice as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work
required based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • RTO blackout dates:
Spring Break (April 4th-12th) • Must manage cardiac and vasoactive
drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine,
Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin • Care for
patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias,
hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and
PE/DVT/vascular issues • Work with unit systems including Epic,
Pyxis, and SBAR • Must be available to submit core items and
complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract Facility: This
healthcare facility operates a comprehensive telemetry unit
providing specialized cardiac monitoring and care services. The
facility features modern equipment including Sara Steady and other
lift equipment, with interdisciplinary support services including
IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social
services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care
and requires full compliance for timely start dates with a
bi-weekly orientation schedule. Location: Augusta, GA Augusta
