populations from adults to geriatrics Description: We are seeking a
Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The position
requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience. First-time
travelers are accepted. The patient population includes adults and
geriatrics. Candidates must hold current BLS certification. The
nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. The unit has 49 rooms with an
average daily census of 48. Expect to work every other weekend
unless otherwise specified. Floating to other units within the
facility may be required. There are no call requirements for this
position. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period,
the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays fall within
the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If
three major holidays occur, the traveler must work two of the
three. Compliance with all required documentation is necessary for
on-time start. Non-billable orientation hours will be required. The
unit provides interdisciplinary support, including IV teams and
respiratory services. Candidates should be skilled in telemetry,
wound care, and various medication management. Communication and
