Job Description Internal Medicine Physician - Greenville, SC Shift: Days (4 days/week) or Part-Time Setting: Clinical Job Summary & Responsibilities: Diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases, injuries, and defects in alignment with professional standards of care. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and patient needs. On call requirement needs to meet if required on Saturdays. Interpret diagnostic tests and supervise procedures such as stress tests and sleep medicine therapies. Maintain accurate, timely medical records using CPT and ICD coding, and ensure complete EHR documentation. Provide equitable after-hours call coverage and participate in non-revenue-generating activities aligned with the organization's mission. Comply with federal, state, and organizational regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards. Engage in continuing medical education to maintain certifications and licensure. Contribute to quality assurance, patient satisfaction, and education initiatives within the practice. Uphold professional ethics, maintain patient confidentiality, and represent the organization positively.
