Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care teams across both our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health services. Our RNs are crucial to the implementation of comprehensive patient care programs tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient. This role requires a compassionate professional with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be part of a collaborative environment where effective patient care and safety are our top priorities. Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for each individual patient. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and home care recovery. Ensure that patient care is compliant with all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Maintain accurate patient records and chart observations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide compassionate care and uphold the values and mission of Encompass Health Corporation. Time management and multitasking abilities. Competency with healthcare software and electronic records.
