Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care within our comprehensive network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health services. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the health and comfort of patients by administering medications, managing recovery plans, and providing emotional and psychological support. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with facility protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient recovery and adjust care plans as necessary. Provide education and support to patients and their families about conditions and care needs. Maintain accurate patient records and report any pertinent changes in patient condition to the appropriate practitioners. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong observational and critical-thinking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current RN license from the state of practice BLS/ACLS certification preferred Certification in specialty areas (e.g., CCRN, CNRN) is advantageous
