Must be registered in both X-ray and CT - Must have at least 1 year
of EPIC experience - Must have experience with adult outpatient and
various imaging studies Description: Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
- 19:00 to 07:30. There is potential to pick up additional hours
throughout the week, but this is not guaranteed. Two technologists
are staffed on this shift to cover X-ray and CT for the emergency
department and inpatients. There will be some transport involved
for getting patients to and from the emergency department.
Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions
during these hours. Epic is utilized in radiology and secure paging
is available for communication with the radiologists. This is a
primary stroke center. Experience with adult outpatient imaging, GE
and Siemens equipment, and various studies such as colorectal and
enterography is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with
preparation and administration of contrast media and radiation
safety practices. Documentation must be completed in the EPIC
system. Travelers must be prepared to float to X-ray as needed. The
aim is to keep staff in their home unit, but floating is required
